Tour Itinerary

DAY 1
Tangier – Chefchaouen

After your arrival to the port of Tangier, your English speaking driver would be waiting for you to great you to start your Arabian journey.

A cultural day tour from the Kasbah to the Medina, the oldest and the most exotic part of this mythical city. Learn about Matisse, the French famous painter who stayed here between 1912 and 1913, visit snake charmers, shop in the labyrinthine souk and enjoy world famous Moroccan cuisine while you relax to the beat of Andalusian musicians and belly dancers.

DAY 2
Volubilis – Meknes – Fez

After an early breakfast, it’s on to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubulis, sprawled amid a wildflower-dotted hillside, where the remains of palaces, baths, soaring arches and magnificent mosaics await exploration. Then, travel through lush rolling hills studded with the fertile plains of ancient olive groves and vineyards await you in the Ismalian capital of Meknes. Meknes is on Unesco’s world heritage list. After a pleasant lunch at the holy city of Moulay Idriss, explore the port of Bab El Mansour and Bab El Khamis.

DAY 3
Fez City

Fez is the holiest city in the Islamic world after Mecca and Medina. Founded at the beginning of the 9th century by Moulay Idriss II, and barely unchanged, this enchanting city has served as a seat of government, philosophy, medicine and most notably religion. It is the best surviving example of an ancient Arab city, is comprised of the “new” city, established in the 12th century, and the 2,000-year-old medina, where donkeys and mules compete alongside buyers through the ancient market, itself a fascinating maze of lanes, blind alleys and bustling souqs assaulting the senses with spices and exotic delicacies. Fez is the perfect place to hone your bargaining skills in buying souvenirs, brightly colored hand-loomed carpets or fine handicrafts. Visit the famous leather tanneries. Then, climb to the venerated Merenid Tombs for a breathtaking panoramic view of the ancient city of Fez.

DAY 4
Fez – Tangier

Morning transfer to Tangier to catch your ferry or fly.
